Pastor Mrs. Omolayo Emily Omorogie
Pastor Mrs. Omolayo Emily Omorogie is a devoted servant of God and the esteemed head of all the directorates at the City of Love Christian Worship Centre. Her remarkable journey of faith began on December 24, 1990, during a Christmas Eve program at the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University Staff Chapel in Bauchi. From that life-transforming moment, she has passionately and faithfully served God in various capacities, beginning from her campus days through her youth service and beyond.
Born with a heart for excellence and a passion for service, she had her early education in Kano before attending Government Day Secondary School, Ogidi Ijumu, in Kogi State. She furthered her education at the Federal Polytechnic, Bauchi, where she earned an HND in Accountancy. Her pursuit of professional excellence led her to become a Chartered Accountant (ICAN) in 2007.
Pastor Omolayo has also demonstrated exceptional professional acumen. She rose to the position of General Manager at Balita Alloy Limited and, in October 2021, joined Romco Recycling Company, Lekki, Lagos as the Head of Procurement, where she continues to make significant contributions.
Her spiritual journey has been equally remarkable. Deeply prayerful and committed, Pastor Omolayo was ordained into ministry on December 11, 2022, after years of serving alongside her husband in the work of the Lord. As the head of all directorates at City of Love Christian Worship Centre, she provides visionary leadership, ensuring that every area of the church functions efficiently and aligns with God’s purpose. She is a pillar of strength within the church community and beyond, inspiring others with her unwavering faith, humility, and dedication to God’s work.
A proud mother of three, Pastor Omolayo embodies grace, wisdom, and love. She is a woman of this generation, wholeheartedly devoted to transforming lives and advancing God’s kingdom for His glory. Her life of service and leadership continues to leave a profound impact on all who encounter her.
